I am the president of New Ulm Robotics. I joined in eighth grade, in 2014. I am now a Junior attending New Ulm Public. I do enjoy the team, and might be codependent upon it. I competed at two FTC competitions, and this year will be my third FRC competition. My assorted hobbies include concert band, pep band, jazz band, marching band, theatre tech, Knowledge Bowl, the robotics team, and my drone. I do enjoy my drone (a DJI flamewheel f550 with a naza v2 flight controller, I would be glad to tell you about it). In short, I am enjoying myself.
I am a senior at New Ulm Public, and this is my fourth year of Robotics; I am also the Vice President for this season. I joined because it seemed interesting, and my brother was a part of it. This year, I am also involved in Knowledge Bowl, Band, One Act, Speech, and Tennis.
In 2014, I attended my first robotics meeting…on accident. In my typical klutzy way, I had missed my bus on my first day of school in New Ulm. I remembered that a weird guy at locker next to mine had asked me to join Robotics and go to the meeting after school that day. So I did. The small group that awaited me was very kind, despite the fact that they knew me not, and I attended every meeting thereafter. Since then I have attended regionals 3 years in a row with FRC and I look forward to another two years as a student in this glorious organization. I am also participating in Knowledge Bowl and Theater Tech this year. I plan on majoring in Political Science or Physics in college.
I’m a Junior at New Ulm High School. I am interested in a broad range of topics from History to Programming. Science and Engineering have been an interest of mine since I was young and read a book of Astronomy as a child. It was therefore natural to join Robotics in 2013 when I was made aware of its existence. Throughout the subsequent seasons I faced numerous challenges and enjoyed every moment of it.
I am a junior at Cathedral High School. As an avid participant in science fair, I have always held an interest in STEM fields, so I joined FTC and later FRC as a freshman. It has been a great experience and I have gained numerous friends.
I joined in 2013 during the first year of FTC. It has helped me in the field of STEM. It has been a lot of fun over the years and I’ve grown in knowledge about robotics and grown close to the people who have been in it with me. I’m glad to have joined and I would recommend joining to anybody who feels interested in it.
I go to New Ulm High School and I am a Senior. I play soccer, shoot trap, play the trumpet, and participate in Knowledge Bowl. I joined robotics this year because I am interested in it and the program looks to be strong this year. I am going to be attending North Dakota State University this fall for mechanical engineering. This field is interesting to me and robotics lines up with it.
I am a senior at New Ulm High School. I play soccer, tennis, and trumpet, and I also participate in Knowledge Bowl. I have been in robotics for three years. I plan on attending Iowa State University in the fall of 2017 to pursue a degree in Computer Engineering.

In 11th grade I joined robotics because I wasn’t apart of a close knit team in school. My other hobbies include playing baritone in the band and in another area orchestra. I also love solving Rubik’s cubes.
I’m a Freshman at Cathedral High School. I enjoy spending my time listening to music, watching anime, and taking pictures. This is my first year in robotics, I decided to join the team after my brother Nathaniel introduced me to a few people on the team. I also spend tremendous amounts of time on social media.
This is my second year in the New Ulm robotics program. I’m a junior at Cathedral High School. I’m interested in almost anything electronic or new technology. I’m in robotics because it gives me a chance to work with my interests. I hope that this will help me in the future to pursue computer engineering.

I am in 11th grade and I’m a casual writer and drawer. NASCAR is the reason I joined because i’m big into technology and can work on anything. The quote that I live by is “You will win some you will lose some and you will wreck some” -Dale Earnhardt, Sr. I am autistic and have a photographic memory.
I am a junior at Cathedral High School and I joined robotics two years ago. I joined with a friend and we decided to come to the first meeting to give it a shot, two years later I am still here and definitely more excited every year. The people on the team are my closest friends and it is always fun to come to meetings. I lifeguard at the pool and also teach swim lessons.I am a junior at Cathedral High School and I joined robotics two years ago. I’m a sophomore and my hobbies all revolve around computers from either playing video games or watching stuff from YouTube and Twitch TV. My main reason for joining FRC is to get more knowledge about engineering. The degree that I want to go to college for is Mechanical Engineering. I also have an obsession for following everything space, and because of that I might aim to get a Aerospace degree as well at some point.
This is my 2nd year in robotics. I am a junior this year at New Ulm High School. I joined robotics because I have always liked to think outside the box and build my ideas.
My name is Thomas Bauer. I am a Junior at New Ulm High School. I joined New Ulm Robotics because I enjoy designing projects, and I like working with tools and electronics. This year I would like to learn about how to connect motors and the electronic systems.
