Our Approach…

This year, we decided to make a robot with the capability to catch. What we did was create a basic catch-basin-like object on top of our robot. We chose mecanum wheels for our drive. This is something that we have not done as a team before. We program in LabVIEW. Anyways, we can catch, but we can also pick the ball up off the ground and pass it to another player and possibly get it into the low goal. It will be hard to get it in to the low goal, but I think that we can do it. In autonomous, we can (hopefully just as everybody else that is reading this can do) get the 5 points. We can start anywhere as all we do is go forward. It does tend to hang a little bit to the left though, so it would probably a good idea to be on the right side.
